Brad is an independent personal project run by one person. This page says exactly what it collects, why, who else sees it, and how to get it removed. It describes what the system actually does today, not what it intends to do.
The subscriber list
If you subscribe, Brad stores your email address and which scoring engines you ticked. That is the whole record. No name, no company, no tracking profile, and nothing you did not type into the form.
It is used for one purpose: emailing you when a sweep you asked for is published. There is no schedule and no other mailing - if nothing is published, nothing is sent. Your address is never sold, rented, or shared with anyone for their own use.
Withdrawing consent
Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and it takes effect immediately. It opens a preference page where you can either drop individual engines or unsubscribe from everything. You do not need to contact anyone, give a reason, or sign in.
If a link ever fails, use the contact form and you will be unsubscribed by hand. Either way it is honoured right away, and in no case later than 10 business days.
Getting your data deleted
Unsubscribing stops the email. If you also want your address erased rather than marked unsubscribed, ask through the contact form and it will be deleted from the mailing provider.
You can also ask what is held about you, and you will be told - it will be your address and your engine preferences.
Who else processes it
- Resend stores the subscriber list and delivers the email. It is a United States company, so your address is processed outside Canada.
- Vercel hosts the site and runs the subscribe, unsubscribe and contact endpoints. Its analytics are cookie-free and collect no personal data; Brad sets no advertising or tracking cookies of any kind.
Both are used as service providers to run this site. Neither is permitted to use your address for their own purposes.
IP addresses
When you submit the subscribe or contact form, your IP address is read in memory to rate-limit abuse, and is not stored and not associated with your email address. Hosting and email providers keep their own server logs under their own retention policies, which Brad does not control.
The contact form
A contact message is emailed to the Brad inbox and is not stored anywhere else. The reply address is optional - if you leave it blank the message is still delivered, and there is simply no way to reply.
Children
Brad is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If what is collected or who processes it changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves.
